Moving to 215 SummerWood St.

"No..." Tom started, "I mean... yes. I do want to talk to you. I'm-"

Tom closed his eyes and shook his head. This was stupid, why was he acting like this? He never acted like this, no matter who he was around.

"I'm... uh.. not really a people person," he repeated. It was true... at least since BDGeorg died. He looked at the car trying to come up with an escape plan. He couldn't see any way out that wasn't overly rude, so he just squeezed Georg's hand tighter and tried to calm himself.

"Yeah, um," Georg began, conscious of the grip on his hand growing tighter. "It's very nice to meet you, Bill. We were just going to go shopping you know. I'm sure we'll see you around some other time..."

There. That was a good excuse to get to the car, was it not? And he was polite, which was also important. He smiled at the men in his company. "Later.."

"Shopping?" Bill asked and stepped a little closer. "That's nice."

He wasn't about to let them go just yet. He went to stand right before them. "You are cute," he told the nervous, cornrowed man and nodded in approval. "Even if you're shy. I'm sure you're a real wildcat in bed, eh?" He didn't pause long enough to get a reaction. "I might take you up on the party offer after all," he added and smirked. He hadn't been able to have fun in a while, these neighbors were just the entertainment he needed.

"Yes, shopping. Food shopping, you know. We should really get to it. You never know when they're going to close stores right in the middle of the day."

Tom turned red in embarrassment from the comment. He had really only had sex with 4 people. Some girl he lost his virginity to when he was 15, although he lost it after 45 seconds. Another girl after that who had been about 5 years older than him. BDGeorg and WinterGeorg. Sex was always pretty low-key for him. Masturbation was another story...

As the comment sunk in, embarrassment turned to anger. This Bill person had no right to say such things to him. "How tame I am in the bedroom is really between me and my boyfriend," Tom gritted.

He looked at 815Bill, completely flustered. No longer concerned about being polite, he pulled his hand away from Georg's and turned toward the car. "I'm going to sit in the car."

Georg tensed, tightening his jaw and swallowing harsh comments before he replied, waiting for his boyfriend to leave.

"Well, I'm sure you'll never know," he answered tensely. "Now if you'll excuse me, we really do need to go shopping...we have plans for tonight. I'm sure we'll meet later, when we aren't so rushed."

Well, he thought to himself, at least this one isn't a cannibal. That's something, at least.

Sidestepping the new neighbor, he made his way to the shiny black car, pushing the button to unlock it for his boyfriend. He made a half-hearted wave to his neighbor, intent on getting out of there. He didn't need to talk to this one any longer and get angry. He has learned long ago to simply walk away.

Bill chuckled to himself as he watched Tom walk over to the car. So easily insulted.

"Ah, well, that's too bad," Bill said to Georg. "Nice to meet you anyhow."

He waved back, endlessly amused by their tense voices and their quick flee.

Tom opened the car door and climbed inside as quick as he could and slammed the door shut. He waited for Georg to join him.

He didn't want to come off as angry, he didn't want to upset Georg. He didn't want his boyfriend to think that he didn't like the place because he did, but goddammit if that 815 kid didn't rightly piss him off.

In Twitterverse, there were cannibals and the like. In What If Verse, there's 815 kid and their landlord. He wasn't sure which was the lesser of two evils....

Georg got in as well and sighed, taking Tom's hand in his own.

"I'm sorry, Babe. That was pretty uncalled for."

He kissed his boyfriend, hoping he wasn't mad at Georg for not standing up for him immediately. Georg started the car, glancing over at him.

"So I'm rescinding his invitation to our party. Just so you know."

Tom wasn't mad at Georg. He had no right or reason to be.

"It's okay, really. It just kind of sucks that we leave one place with crappy people to end up somewhere else with equally as crappy people, you know?"

He kissed Georg back and sighed, not even knowing why he was upset over it.

Tom glanced at his boyfriend, "We're really having a party?"

"Well, at the moment, as rude as he is, I'd still rather have him than a cannibal. At least he doesn't murder and eat people..."

Georg drove slowly, not knowing the neighborhood very well. He tried to remember each turn so they wouldn't get lost.

"Do you want a party? Maybe a small one, just your brother and mine...and any friends of yours, too." He frowned, thinking. "Everyone we know is still in Twitterverse, though. We might have to go back if we want a party...or at least wait until we make more friends here, you know?"

He pulled into the parking lot of the small country market and turned off the car.

"It's just an idea."

"All you know is that he doesn't eat people. For all you know, he does murder people."

Tom sighed, he didn't want to be mad. He had no reason to be mad. Not at Georg. But he wasn't even mad at Georg. He was mad at this stupid 815kid.

Tom stared out the window as he listened to Georg. Having his brother here would be nice... but he didn't really have any friends. His brother, Gustav and Andreas. He hadn't seen Andreas in ages and Gustav wasn't really the type of guy you wanted to party with...

"Yeah. We could have a party. Your brother and my brother. It would be nice."

"The 'and' was the important part," he said softly, grabbing a basket as they entered the store. "So...what kind of food did you have in mind?"

He smirked softly, looking at his boyfriend. "Fiber-Nuts?"

Tom was beautiful. The pale sunlight shown through the store windows to show a white-gold halo around his lover's black braids, glinting lightly on his lip ring. Georg was nearly struck speechless by the beauty, until the moment ended.

"Well, I guess I missed the importance of it." Tom mumbled looking around the small market. "I don't know, really." His mind had been occupied with moving and their landlord and their neighbor and the fact he wasn't getting laid for the foreseeable future that he hadn't been thinking about what to eat.

"No. No Fiber-Nuts." Tom smiled, "I guess we're kind of limited to what we can cook and what we can put in the microwave."

Tom looked at Georg who was looking at him oddly. A good kind of odd though. It was the kind of look he had sometimes gotten from girls, but it was more special. It meant something and it made Tom feel warm all over. He could feel himself blush and he turned away and started to examine the fruit. "Do you eat fruit? No, of course not. What boy our age eats fruit? None. Moving on."

Georg shook himself out of it, already seeing Tom walk away from the fruit section.

"Actually," he started, "I like apples. Red ones. Just...I know Bill's allergic to them...so I never said anything."

He briefly wondered if Tom was allergic to apples, too. Wouldn't that be horrible! But then, he never said they had to get apples...just that he liked them. That was okay, wasn't it?

He caught Tom's hand and squeezed lightly, smiling at him. He didn't know how the town would react to a gay couple. It was probably something he should have checked out first, but he had been so focused on getting away from the cannibals. What if they had stepped out of the pot and into the fire, as the saying went?

Pushing the thought aside, he determined to not make anyone else suspicious, at least until they found out how conservative the town was. Here, in the supermarket, they were just roommates.

Tom turned and returned to the fruit section, standing in front of the apples. He picked a fairly sized green one up and tossed it up in the air. "You like apples?" Tom reached out and caught the apple as it fell.

"Red apples you say?" He grabbed an equal sized red apple with his left hand and tossed it and caught it. "How do you feel about yellow?" Tom smiled, grabbing a yellow and starting to juggle them in a cascade.

"He's not terribly allergic, He just breaks out if he eats anything... appley." Tom explained, catching the green and yellow apples in his right hand and the red in his left. He put the green and yellow back and presented the red one to his boyfriend. "For you, good sir."

"But it's no big deal. His mosquito allergy is what I really have to worry about." Tom smiled at his boyfriend and grabbed a few more apples and bagged them and put them in the basket. "Hey, how'd you know he was allergic anyway?"

Georg laughed at the display, shaking his head at Tom's antics.

"Oh, um...Google," he shrugged, as if that explained everything. In a way, it did; He had found a vast knowledge on all things Tom there, and more. Currently, he wasn't researching Tom as much as his former boyfriend, another Georg. What made him so different from this other person? And what made Tom love him?

"I wouldn't mind some grapes, either...but maybe next time." He began to walk away, towards something else.

Google. The devil Google. Tom had Googled himself on more than one occasion. Not recently though, he hardly wanted to be reminded of Tokio Hotel or its existence lately, although it never really left his mind.

"You Googled me?" Tom really did hate Google. He resented the fact that years of his life were archived on the Internet. Every stupid thing he had done was there for anyone who knew how to use a search engine. How much did Georg know about him? How he was? How much did he believe that wasn't true?

He watched Georg start to walk away, but he had to know. He grabbed some grapes and caught up with Georg. "Wh-what did you find on Google?"

"Huh?" Georg asked, turning to look at him. "Oh, nothing much. I just watched a few interviews, listened to some songs..."

He shrugged, trying to hide the fact that he was lying. He had looked up everything he could find on Tom, yet it felt as if he couldn't know enough about his boyfriend. Furthermore, he didn't know enough about his boyfriend's late ex, either. He had seen videos, though....amazing, wonderful videos of them playing live. He could play bass, but not like that. Not that he paid much attention to the other Georg. He only had eyes for Tom.

Tom's mind raced. He didn't date a lot because of the Internet and it would have been a snowy day in hell that he dated a rabid fangirl. There was so much bullshit on there that people just made up for fun mixed with the fact he was so... overly sexual in public it almost disgusted him.

He was 20-year-old boy, of course, but he wasn't as bad as he acted. There was also the fact he punched a girl in the face once, which he did regret, no matter how much she had deserved it. He had even regretted it as soon as he got back on the car after doing it... But what the hell would Georg think of him if he knew all of that? Did he know about all of that?

He tried to play it over real smooth anyway, he didn't want to deal with all of it again. "Oh really now? What did you think? What interviews did you watch? What songs did you listen to?"

Real smooth.

"Oh, you know..." Georg smirked a little, trying to keep a straight face, yet failing. "Just the ones with you in them. There weren't that many, honest."

He bit his lip, trying to keep from laughing at the look on Tom's face. He wished he had a camera to take a picture. He could probably sell it on ebay for a lot of money. A LOT of money.

"I also talked to a few fans."

Tom's face dropped. "You what?! You did what?! What did you do?!"

Fans? Which fans? Where? What the did they talk about? They still had fans? This couldn't be good for Tom. He hated the Internet with a passion. Sure it helped them gain international fame, you could waste some time playing stupid games, and of course there was porn, but after that it was no good. It spread vicious rumors and lies. It harbored things like twincest fiction, photo manipulations, and simply outlandish theories about him and his brother.

Tom avoided the subject of Tokio Hotel with Georg because he didn't want his boyfriend forming opinions of him based on shit on the Internet and the happenings of the band. Tom knew he should have more faith in his lover, but Tom had encountered plenty of fanboys in the day. He liked the thought that Georg only knew him for who he was and not as the Tokio Hotel guitarist.

Tom wanted to think that he was so much more than Tokio Hotel, but maybe it was just part of him he'd never be able to break free of.

Georg glanced back at him, finally catching his boyfriend's expression.

"...Does it really bother you?" he asked, surprised. He thought Tom would enjoy the fact that Georg knew more about him. Now he could surprise Tom with his favorite meal or something he really liked...but it didn't appear that Tom saw it that way.

Of course, some of the conversations he had had with fans had been...well, very strange. The first few times, he had been cussed out for claiming to actually know Tom. He had quickly learned to masquerade as a fellow fan, versus Tom's boyfriend. Things went much smoother that way.

"No, Georg..." Tom really didn't want to admit that he had been insanely paranoid about having a girlfriend or boyfriend since Tokio Hotel became popular. He couldn't stand the idea that his significant other knew more about him than he did simply from the Internet.

And he really didn't want to be reminded of the Tokio Hotel era anymore. With WinterGeorg, Tom could be himself without worry of being judged for a stupid teenage mistake that he made or some rumor that a bored lonely magazine writer wrote because he needed readers.

Most of all, Tom could now differenciate between WGeorg and BDGeorg. He didn't want to go back to living in the past. He wanted to treat WGeorg as an individual, not as a replacement for his dead boyfriend...

"Then I don't see why it matters," Georg replied simply, pulling away to visit the meat section. Or was Tom still a vegetarian?

He was waiting for the other shoe to drop, honestly. There was something in Tom's tone...He sighed to himself as he walked away, cursing himself for even having brought it up. Tom wasn't acting like he wanted Georg to be perusing the internet for information on him. Of course, given Tom's reputation...that might have been a valid fear. But then, if he thought Georg would leave him because he used to fuck a lot of girls, he didn't know Georg very well at all.
